PII includes, but is not limited to: full legal names, birth dates, home addresses, phone numbers, or private health information of living persons.

  • User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the information you choose to upload or share in public forums, comments, or course assignments.
  • Limitation of Liability: Let’s Find Family! is not responsible for the upload of PII regarding living relatives. We do not monitor all user-uploaded content for PII compliance, and it is not our responsibility to remove such data unless required by law.

We highly suggest that you keep information about living individuals in your private records and only share data regarding deceased ancestors on this platform.

4. Public Contributions (Comments & Reviews)

We love hearing from our community! However, it is important to know how these contributions work:

  • Public Visibility: Any comment or course review you post is public. This means anyone visiting the site can see your name and what you wrote.
  • Moderation: To keep our community warm, encouraging, and spam-free, all comments and reviews are moderated. Your post will be held in a “pending” state until it is manually approved by us.
  • Testimonials: We celebrate student wins! If you leave a glowing 5-star review, we may reach out to you personally to ask for your permission to feature that review (and your name) on our homepage or in our marketing emails.

  1. Course Access: Requesting full deletion of your account will result in the permanent loss of access to any courses or digital products you have purchased.
  2. Public Record: While we will delete your private account and email, please note that public comments and reviews you have posted will remain on the site as part of the public community record.
